It started in my mum's kitchen in Argentina.
Growing up in Argentina, chimichurri wasn't just a sauce — it was the soul of every family gathering. My mum would make it fresh every time, chopping parsley by hand, mixing in garlic and oregano, and letting it rest just long enough for the flavours to come alive.
When I moved to the UK, I couldn't find anything that came close. The bottled versions tasted like vinegar. The "fresh" ones from the supermarket were bland and lifeless. So I started making my own — the way my mum taught me.
Friends tried it. Then friends of friends. Then strangers at BBQs. Everyone said the same thing: "This is incredible. Where can I buy this?"
That's when Chimi-shake was born.
We created a way for anyone to make real chimichurri at home — in seconds. No cooking skills needed. Just fresh parsley, our signature spice blend, and a good shake. The result is restaurant-quality chimichurri that tastes exactly like the one my mum makes.
How it works

Chop fresh parsley
Grab 30 grams of fresh flat-leaf parsley — and give it a rough chop on a cutting board. Don't worry about making it perfect. Rustic is the way to go.
Pro tip
Use flat-leaf (Italian) parsley, not curly. It has more flavour and the right texture for chimichurri.

Add Chimi-Shake and mix
Drop your chopped parsley into the jar, add our signature Chimi-Shake spice blend, and shake. The blend already has everything you need — garlic, oregano, chilli flakes, salt, oil, and vinegar.
Pro tip
Shake it, let it sit for a few minutes, then spoon it generously over everything.

Shake, rest, and serve
Seal the jar tightly and give it a vigorous shake for about 30 seconds. Let it rest for a minute so the flavours meld together, then spoon it generously over your food.
Pro tip
Chimichurri gets even better after 1 day. Make it ahead if you can — the flavours deepen beautifully.
